This is a non-profit agency I used to work for. They assist the deaf, hard-of-hearing and people with communication disorders in a variety of ways.

Deaf Action Center; Dallas, Texas. Another non-profit agency I used to work for. This place is bigger with more resources. Plus, they have on-site independent living apartments for the deaf who need them. Many residents are elderly. DAC has advocacy specialists that work with the state to help people overcome discrimination or misunderstandings. The agency also has a food bank every Tuesday.
